A life-size bronze statue of the late singer Amy Winehouse is set to be revealed near the home where she was found dead.

The statue will be revealed in Camden, London on September 14th, which would have been her 31st birthday.

"I had a meeting with Camden council and they told me they don't usually allow statues until 20 years after someone has died, but in Amy's case they made an exception," Mitch Winehouse, Amy's father, said in an interview.

The top choices for the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show are being asked to pay to secure the gig.

According to The Wall Street Journal, artists like Coldplay, Katy Perry, and Rihanna have been reached out to. The NFL has asked artists if they would exchange the headlining set for a portion of their post-Super Bowl tour earnings or make some other payment to the League.

Apparently it's not winning over artists. The article states that the NFL "got a chilly reception from the candidates' representatives."

The voice actor, most famous for announcing the cast and guests of NBC's Saturday Night Live, passed away Monday in his sleep.

Pardo's earlier works include extensive radio work, announcing for The Price Is Right and Jeopardy!, and most recently for announcing on Saturday Night Live even after his retirement from NBC in 2004.

Pardo only missed out on one season of the show from 1981-1982. Recently he missed two shows in 2013 due to a broken hip.

Lorne Michaels, creator of and producer for SNL, plans to pay tribute to Pardo when Season 40 begins on September 27th.

The Coldplay frontman and Gwyneth Paltrow announced their separation in March. The pair has been married for over ten years and have two kids together.

J-Law recently broke up with her ex, X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult. A source cited busy schedules for the "very amicable" split.

According to this article via, Nickelback have signed to a new record label and are releasing a track from their upcoming untitled album Tuesday.

"Edge of a Revolution" is the title of the debut single being released August 19th. Look for them to go on tour in support of the new album.

As we posted earlier in the week, Kings of Leon were forced to cancel several shows, including one in Cincinnati, following injuries to their drummer Nathan Followill. But that didn't stop them from performing on the Tonight Show.

Roots member Questlove stepped in and played drums for Nathan for a performance of KOL's track Family Tree. Watch video of the performance below.

Last week Michael Cera released a surprise album on Bandcamp. Fellow actor and friend Jonah Hill shared the news on his Twitter account.

Due to Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill being injured in a bus incident following a show in Boston, the band has cancelled shows through August 28th.

"To avoid complications and to make a full recovery, a break from performing to Aug. 28 is necessary," Dr. Faiz Bhora said in a statement regarding the drummer.

The string of dates cancelled includes a show at Riverbend later this month. See the list of shows below.

Oscar-winning Robin Williams was found dead in his Northern California home. The cause of death was an apparent suicide. Our thoughts go out to Williams' friends and family.

Five-year-old Noah Ritter was at the Wayne County Fair and gave his first "live" TV interview to reporters at WNEP-TV.

Remember "School of Rock," the 2003 comedy with Jack Black?

Nickelodeon has ordered 13 episodes of a new series that shares the same name and follows the story of "Dewey Finn, a wannabe rock star who poses as a substitute teacher at an elite prep school and introduces the precocious students to the appeal of rock 'n' roll."

Production is set to begin this fall for a Spring 2015 debut.

Unrelated to the TV show, "School of Rock" is also coming to Broadway, aiming for a 2016 release and featuring songs from the film.

"Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly-anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance," Lorde said on the soundtrack for the new Hunger Games movie. "The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience. I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people."

A part of Lorde taking on the soundtrack duties means that she will get the first single released from the soundtrack. The single's title has yet to be released.
